About
The artist, graduate of the Master Degree Program Metal shall have general academic and specialized professional knowledge. During the training students examine issues similar to those of the transitional BA program but with a higher degree of complexity and with problems, which cover not only the design and realization of art works, but also theoretical justification of artistic design.
In the third semester the student works on selected personal agenda, and prepares a diploma thesis with the support of a supervisor.
Graduate students have a more successful career, improve their abilities when working with familiar materials as well as with those using new and non-traditional metalworking technologies. They increase their capacity for better artistic integration of metal plastic art in a specific area of its contact with the viewer and consumer, and for affiliation with the modern era and modern vision. The program develops higher aesthetic criteria with opportunities for deeper understanding and treatment of the issues and problems of psychology and philosophy of art forms.
MA Degree holders are capable of performing artistic and design activities in various areas of metalworking both in easel and decorative direction. They can teach in secondary and higher education institutions, engage in research and occupy senior positions in companies and businesses in the artistic treatment of metals.
