Training in the Master Program, Psychology of Art provides knowledge of the theory and practice of modern art psychology. In accordance with the modern trends in the field, in-depth theoretical preparation is acquired as well as knowledge about the variety of alternative approaches, methods and tools for psychological interpretation of art is absorbed and enriched. Specialized training for the implementation of psychological research and psychological experiments, based on art is provided. 

The tasks of the Psychology of Art Program are to form the students’ knowledge system on the history and development of systems and psychological theories within which to interpret visual arts; to develop skills in critical analysis of the psychological characteristics and categories of art; to build competencies on the application of different psychological approaches to art.

Graduates of Master Degree Program receive a diploma with professional qualification for artists with specialist knowledge and skills in the field of art education. This enables them to achieve success as experts in all grades of general and specialized art education and in the establishment of a variety of modern teaching aids and tools.
