About
Masters of Art in Modern and Contemporary Art Program develop their professional skills and experience within approved by the department, faculty and academic council program and compulsory basic theoretical knowledge. It builds and acquires new general academic and specialized knowledge of the history and theory of modern and contemporary art (Bulgarian and worldwide), art management, psychology of creativity, art sociology and many others.
Students specialize and develop their knowledge and skills in addressing broad issues of fine and visual arts related to the specifics of modern and avant-garde movements of the late nineteenth century to the present day. They acquire knowledge of the historical techniques and the introduction of new media in the art of the twentieth century, and the history, theory and criticism of this period.
